May 2002 in North-Holland (Netherlands)

In May we were on holidays for a week in Groete Keeten near Callantsoog in the Netherlands. Now I saw the beach and the dunes without snow for the first time and I enjoyed it. Sometimes when it was very windy I had some trouble with the sand in my eyes. But then I met some nice “Meisjes” (Dutch for girls) and that was it worth for!

North-Holland has besides the seaside resorts many old towns that are beautiful to look at - for example Alkmaar, Enkhuisen und Hoorn.
