The glacier village Grindelwald is not far from the area where bernese mountain dogs were bred for the first time. No wonder that I feel completely familiar here!

You can enjoy the fantastic panoramic views, here the Wetterhorn (left) and the Mättenberg, on every walk in the sorroundings of the valley.

In wintertime it is fantastic here, too. Even if I don´t go skiing. This is not the right business for a real “Bäri”, as we bernese mountain dogs are called here.

I love to play in the snow and enjoy the low temperatures and the view to the Eiger.

Above the roof of the Chalet you can see the famous Eiger-Northface.
